Rule: The wrestler must have wrestled at least 2 open tournaments at weight
class before entering at regional and must have a total of 3 open tournament
qualifiers prior to regionals. The penalty for
failing a “Random Weight Check” shall be
an automatic bar to the wrestler of this entered weight or lower in any division for the balance of the
season. (Example: a Div 4 wrestler is double entered at 95 lbs in Div 5, the
wrestler fails the random check in Div 5. The wrestler can no longer wrestle
95lbs or below in either division for the rest of the season)
