Leave from the Grapevine Mills Mall by the Sports Authority Sporting Goods store (by the big football statue) @ 8:30 am Friday the 18th.
Arrive BA @ approximately 1:30 pm @ the Holiday Inn BA
Arrive @ Union Intermediate School to register @ 3:30 pm, weigh-in @ 5:00 pm
Wrestle @ 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday arrive back @ the school @ 7:00 am to finish Greco and/or start Freestyle. We will load the buses and check out.
Tournament completion approximately 9 - 10pm. Load on bus and go back to Grapevine Mills Mall to drop off @ 2:30 am
HOME for EASTER
The SOUTHERN PLAINS TOURNAMENT is one of the most important for our Texas wrestlers. For the JUNIORS it is a NATIONAL QUALIFIER for FARGO, for our CADETS it is their tune-up for their regional championship in Kansas. The results from New Orleans validates both our program and our wrestlers. Hard training is only half the answer, searching out the best competition will take Texas to the next level. There is no doubt you have noticed the SOUTHERN PLAINS is being held on EASTER weekend, I can only assume wiser men that I understand why. With that in mind we have changed our travel plans to get everyone home to spend Easter with their families. We will be taking tour buses up to Broken Arrow, OK - they predict the tournament will end by approx. 9:00 pm Saturday night. We will leave as soon as the tournament is over.
