Freestyle and Greco Regional

    Major wrestling events are right around the corner for Team Texas. Wrestlers from across the state that would like to compete in any of the upcoming regional events need to contact their regional TX-USA Director for information on upcoming trips. Athletes need to contact those directors at least ten days before the event in order to plan for travel and hotel accommodations. These regional events are great opportunities to get good competition with the possibility of qualifying for the USA National Tournament and Team Texas. The top three place finishers in the regional events qualify for nationals and will become Team Texas members. There are three events that will be coming fast and Texas USA plans to have coaches and transportation available for those events. These events include Southern in Metairie, LA (New Orleans) on Aril 10th - 12th, Southern Plains in Broken Arrow, OK., and  Southwestern in Las Vegas, NV. This is the beginning of the qualifying meets for Team Texas, all top three finishers from the regional will automatically qualify for nationals. The other way to qualify is through the USA State Freestyle/Greco-Roman tournament held on May 31st in San Antonio. This is going to be a great spring and summer for TX-USA WRESTLING as we work are way to the TOP!!!!
