Purpose: To acquaint coaches and officials with the rules, rule changes and interpretations of the rules.
Officials Mat Clinic
Cost: $20 or current years stamp in license book
Materials: Rulebook; notepad; handouts
Time: Approx. 1 to 1 ˝ hours

Place: following Rules Clinic
Method: Lecture; Demonstration; Practical; Video
Purpose: To demonstrate proper technique and positioning for new and returning officials on conduct of bouts.
The intent of this is to encourage more coaches to attend to get an understanding of what the rules are and how they are called. That is part 1. Part 2 is the official’s clinic for those who want to become licensed officials. We want as many coaches to attend as possible; this should help ease the tension that has been present in the past. As always, we will need officials, the more that sign up the less the burden will be.
Technical fall – 12-point difference
Overtime – 1 minute followed by tiebreaker if still tied.
Rest time – 15 minutes for each division and/or weight.
